Incognito mode on Google Chrome enables users to browse the internet without worrying about leaving behind a trail of browsing history. In earlier iterations of Android the incognito mode was limited to Chrome, but the on-screen keyboard still had the ability to record and learn from what was typed while browsing the internet in incognito mode.

With the latest update to the Android O developer preview, Google has added incognito functionality to the Google keyboard. Now, if you browse the internet in incognito mode, the familiar fedora and glasses graphic appears on the Gboard and the keyboard stops recording the unique words you type.

The feature, however, is available only in Chrome Dev as of now, and may or may not make it to the release version of Android O.
